/ STORY

Sky & Jacob’s three-day wedding story in London is deeply rooted in Sky’s family history and childhood ties to the capital. Jacob is from the U.S., where the couple met and were living during the planning process, and where the majority of their guests travelled from.

Day one welcomed an intimate gathering of friends and family to Sessions Arts Club, a striking restaurant set within a grand Grade II* listed building in the heart of Clerkenwell. Guests enjoyed seasonal canapés, cocktails, a beautifully curated three-course meal, and heartwarming speeches. The design was kept simple, incorporating Sky’s favourite colours and flowers, which complemented the artful interiors harmoniously. As the night drew to a close, an even smaller group made their way to the Broadwick Hotel in Soho for a private nightcap.

On day two, guests enjoyed a quintessential London night out at a chic, food-led pub in the heart of Chelsea, where much-loved Art Deco-inspired details added a touch of personality. American road trip songs filled the air, while conversations and signature cocktails flowed freely. It was a joy to see everyone so excited, enjoying the connections being made and looking forward to the wedding day ahead.

On day three, the wedding morning began relaxed for Sky and Jacob, who got ready at Carlton House in London alongside their respective groups of friends – the same stunning venue that would later host both the ceremony and the first drinks reception.

Before the ceremony, Sky and Jacob signed the Ketubah, honouring Jacob’s Jewish roots. The Chuppah featured Sky’s favourite colours – blue, green, and yellow – with florals that evoked the beauty of her family garden, creating a personal and heartfelt setting. One of their closest friends officiated the symbolic, love-filled ceremony.

After the I-dos, guests enjoyed Champagne and caviar before boarding vintage single-decker Routemaster coaches to the eagerly anticipated V&A Museum, where a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing awaited. The museum holds a special place in Sky’s heart, having spent countless childhood hours wandering its halls, sketching and studying the paintings and treasured sculptures she loves.

With the weather very much on our side, the cocktail hour unfolded in the John Madejski Garden at the V&A, featuring a live jazz trio alongside the couple’s favourite drinks and carefully curated small bites. The design details and furniture tied in wonderfully with the couples’ love of colour, patterns and the dress code for the day – ‘black tie, colourful gowns welcome’.

Dinner took place inside the museum, within the Raphael Cartoons gallery. The Raphael Cartoons – a set of seven full-scale tapestry designs painted by Raphael in 1515 – are considered among the greatest treasures of the Renaissance, a period beloved by Sky for its art. The dinner design drew inspiration from their rich colors and dynamic energy, creating a moody, atmospheric setting, with summery accents introduced through the floral arrangements.

Once dinner and speeches concluded, guests were ushered into the museum’s dome area for the after-party, hence the name The Dome. They enjoyed a generous dessert table filled with the couple’s favourites, a DJ and saxophone duo, expertly crafted cocktails served in fine glassware, and moody, after-hours lighting that set the perfect ambiance for some serious dance moves.
