My roots lie in the German countryside by the Baltic Sea, and together with my husband of ten years, I cherish a life that blends nature with London’s cultural diversity; embracing the best of both worlds.
When I’m not planning beautiful celebrations, you’ll find me outdoors gardening, hiking or skiing, where I’m just as happy as I am in an art gallery, boutique hotel or at a day spa. I’m naturally drawn to refinement over volume, bold interiors, low lighting, texture, colour and really good food.
Beyond life’s tangible luxuries, it’s the quieter, heartfelt moments I treasure most: the sound and smell of the sea, laughter with friends gathered around a table, and thoughtful words or gestures when least expected.
It was my love of hosting and looking after people, combined with a lifelong passion for all things beautifully organised, that inspired the launch of HILDE in 2017. The name is a tribute to my Oma (grandmother) Hilde, whose legendary gatherings in the garden of her home I remember with such fondness.
